Dongshan Fine Rice Mill, Jiande City

Jiande City Dongshan Refined Rice Mill, established in 1996, is a comprehensive enterprise integrating cultivation, procurement, production, storage and transportation, sales, and distribution. It is committed to building a complete industrial chain that spans from “a single seed to a bowl of rice.” After nearly 30 years of dedicated effort, the company has obtained certifications under three major management systems as well as a food safety management system, and has been recognized as a “Zhejiang Province Trusted Grain and Oil Distribution Center,” among other honors. It has also developed a range of renowned grain and oil brands, including “Hangchuan No. 1,” “Dao Gengxiang” rice, and “Xin You Ling Qi” rapeseed oil, which are widely favored by consumers.

Hangzhou Gengyun Ecological Agriculture Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2014 and operates 600 mu of mulberry fields. Through scientific management and technological innovation, the company has steadily increased both per-mu yield and market value of mulberry leaves, helping more than 400 farming households boost their incomes. The company holds successfully registered trademarks such as “Can Gu Liang” and “Chan Nü Lang,” and has launched six products in its Rainbow Series featuring silkworms, which have received widespread acclaim from the market.

In 2022, the company won third prize in the Zhejiang Provincial Agri‑Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition and, together with Dr. Wang Jie of Zhejiang University, established the Hangzhou City Doctoral Innovation Station.

Hangzhou Jiande Tiantang Food Co., Ltd. is a modern agricultural‑product processing enterprise with export qualifications and is the leading domestic producer of lotus root starch. Its “Tiantang” brand West Lake Lotus Root Starch product line enjoys strong sales throughout China and is exported to Japan, Europe and North America, as well as Southeast Asian countries.

Jiande Fangjun Agricultural Products Distribution Co., Ltd. was established in September 2011. The company specializes in the distribution of over ten major categories of agricultural and sideline products, including meat, aquatic products, poultry and eggs, fruits and vegetables, grains and oils, seasonings, and soybean products. Currently, it operates a 50-mu vegetable production base and has contracted with seven farming and breeding bases.

Leading agricultural enterprises are the backbone of industrialized agricultural operations, playing a vital role in upgrading and transforming rural industries and in advancing the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas. As of now, our city is home to 105 such enterprises, including 7 at the Zhejiang provincial level, 63 at the Hangzhou municipal level, and 35 at the Jiande municipal level.
